Ray-ban Posted June 18, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 18, 2012 Here is a suggestion very much like the above: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 32.048 Hz Vb = 2.125 ft^3 External Height = 11.5 in External Width = 35 in External Depth = 17 in Port Width = 3 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front & Back = 35 x 11 1/2 Left & Right Sides = 15 1/2 x 10 Top & Bottom = 35 x 15 1/2 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 12 1/2 x 10 Extension = 14 x 10 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Let me know any questions. any suggestions with what type of screws, how many and type of glue? Joe X Posted June 18, 2012 Report Share Posted June 18, 2012 If you get perfect cuts, that's your best bet against leaks, You apply the sealant once the glue has dried in a given section. Get your cuts done if you don't have proper equipment, Home Depot does that service. You don't really need a double baffle for those subs, you may place a front to back crossbrace between the subs if you want, in any case I can issue a double baffle version if you feel uneasy. Joe X Posted June 18, 2012 Report Share Posted June 18, 2012 They will do straight cuts, let them know you really need precise cuts, Termlab tests by members on here have shown that 45s hurt SPL in many cases, the one in the port turn though is helpful to ease airflow, the figure show a slant in the inner corner of the port turn, if you can't do the slant, you can sand it, just taking away the sharp edge.
