Mha
I have 3ohm components on my AB amp. I used to run it at 1.5ohm( 2 per channel) with out it turning off. It got supper hot though. I was only running 2 of the 4 channels cause I only had one set of rcas . Now its super hot outside and im running 3ohms per channel all 4 channels now and it turned off on me for the first time. I have it elevated off the ground and was thinking of adding a small fan or 2 under the amp blowing air into the.the holes under the amp cover. Or maybe blowing out? Is this a good idea? The amp allso has vents on the sides by the tune knobs for air to exit or enter. I have also seen people on youtube just fans blowing air onto the top amp heat sink. Is this better? Any.ideas? O yea once I get it kooling better whats the chances of me burning the amp up running it at 1.5 ohm( 2 sets per channel) speakers have ohm rize too right? I didnt have an issue before but I never ran it over a few weeks like that before.
