Loud Trunk Setup Owners Step Inside...need Help

Recommended Posts

Second on the Bandpass motion.

One 12" JBL on a 215w MAX amp got the mirror's vibrating on the inside of my friend's '94 Explorer.

I put my new 12" in there and I had a meter hooked up to it.

With 0.7v I got some slight vibrations of walls in my room.

DON'T Quote me on that. It may just be box placement in my room but still.

They are very efficient.

But that's the only type of box I have ever owned so no experience with ported, sealed, or T-Line's (Yet.:)).

OK I know.

I honestly have no Idea what brand amp that was.

All I know is it said 75x (The other part was worn off.)

and 215x.

I didn't meter it but I could.

And It wasn't bridgeable but I did anyway.

I was trying to make the enclosure's sound good.

thanks guys but im too easy about doing a banpass i just dont really get it and will it give me nice deep boomy bass? but i also seen the angle grinder today at work (walmart) its 45 bucks so im going to pick that up and then return it when im finished..lol

Also i plan on doing alil plexiglass work since in my back seat i have a little arm rest thing thats an opening to the trunk so i figure ill some plexiglass there with alil lighting...(think it will only work if i do a bandpass so i can see the subs in action?

Why not just port it through the rear armrest?? If it's big enough.

Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
