srool Posted June 22, 2012 Report Share Posted June 22, 2012 Hello all, We did some testing several weeks ago and although it's not much, the loudest cat that was measured was DC Audio based. The testing were with TL, sensor was sealed on dash with the passenger window open. The loudest car hit 145.3 on music: 2 DC Level 3's with level 4 soft parts. 1 DC 5.0K, gain were shut down all the way, i think someone clamped it for 3000RMS. 3 XS Power batteries, 1 D3400 + 2 D3100. Stock alternator (about 100A). Here is a video on music: He overcame 2 GZNW 15's and 18" PSI. It's pretty hard to get HO alternator in Israel, but I'm sure we'll manage to get some.
