98GCLimited
Building my box for Crossfire xs v2 15 on saz3000 @ .5 for now. Double layer birch box. 5 cubes net @ 32hz. Trying to determine where the sub should be on the baffle. In the center like this Or in the far corner like this I like the way it looks in the center but I think it might be better to put the sub farther away from the port and in the corner it may load better? BTW that circle of wood isnt 15" diameter its from the cutout on my old box I think its about 14" just put it there to get the point across. Crandis16
Closer to the port might be better. I have been wondering the same except for a port forward sub forward box...is it best like this? _______________ I I _ I I I U I I_I_____________I or this ______________ I I _ I I I U I I_I____________I _ the U is the sub lol Edit: this looked good when I made it in editor port forward sub forward, would the sub be better further away from port or closer lol, thanks in advance Edited June 22, 2012 by Crandis16 Quote My Red zx2 Build Log My Black zx2 Build Log My Red zx2 UBL

98GCLimited
Holy large box for a single 15.. No shit, just noticed that. Yup got a guy helping me out on caco hes got experience with these subs has his in 5 cubes each on a 3500 a piece. Upgrading to a crossfire 8k and shrinking his box a little bit. Also a guy on there had 2 of these 15s in 12 cubes with 240sq in port and a stetsom 14k a piece peaking at 47hz did at 154+ on music lol. I figured I would build big and can shrink it if I want. But I think these like large boxes. Edited June 22, 2012 by 98GCLimited
