I really want to hit lows, but I'd also like to maintain a good SPL level as well. Low notes would be more important. Does anyone have a design for this? I think its the box. Sonic Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 Giving info about your box for example dimensions and tuning, might help to determine what really is the problem, it may or may not be the box.
Joe X Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 So by chance I find the data of your box in another thread 25x36x14.5 1 8" aero 11" long You are 5.5 cubes @ 38Hz without a double baffle ..... and 5.1 cubes @ 39.5Hz with one. There is your problem. You are rather low on net volume and high on tuning.
