bigmescan Posted June 27, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 (edited) that length will allow his port to load better off the side wall.... its more important in this truck than lowering the tuning 1 hz.. the truck itself likes to play low i can play into the upper 20's and im tuned at 37 in mine this may sounf crazy but i was thinking of making the box at 40 length but put the side piece at the 36 in length and if i need more airspace just knock the one piece out till i get it right............... pa-pa-platypus Posted June 27, 2012 Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 quick and easy to figure out the angle is cut your side pieces for the box... then use a small piece of mdf to help figure out your angle for the front baffle..or a scrap piece of wood just play with it till it works it m...i put mine together in this order when i had this style box... bottom, sides, back, front baffle, then the top... and you really have enough airspace for a pair of these subs and trying to knock out a side wall like that could end up tearing up the box lol mdf doesnt like to come apart without a fight sometimes Quote This isn't teeball.
