bumpsquad Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 hi guys im new to the site and was wondering if anyone could give me a hand and give me some box ideas dimensions and a cut sheet for a soundstream t7 12 its going into a jetta trunk the dimenions are L-36 H-15 W-34 its going to be getting around 1000 rms and would like it slam as hard as possible with sub and port facing back Quote 2003 jetta 1.8t Soundstream T7D2 2.5cuft @32hz Massive Audio N2 @ 1ohm 2004 WRX STI on the way whole bunch of goodies on the way as well
Joe X Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 Ok here is a suggestion for your SS T7-12 sub/port back/front firing: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 34 Hz Vb = 2.1 ft^3 External Height = 15 in External Width = 29 in External Depth = 15.5 in Port Width = 2 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 29 x 15 Left & Right Sides = 13 1/4 x 13 1/2 Top & Bottom = 29 x 13 1/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 11 x 13 1/2 Extension = 12 1/2 x 13 1/2 Generic dimensions assembly guide: The double baffle is not strictly necessary, if you don't do it you will be a tad tuned higher, let me know any questions.
