fairly new to car audio, need mids and highs.

sorry for double postng but i gues the midbass/ midrange is those middle notes so you would have to pair them up with a higer ranged speaker to get the high notes? so you couldnt just buy these youd need other speakes aswell

infinity speakers have been very harsh in my experience. ridiculously bright tweeters that make my eyes cringe while playing.

2 way and 3 ways are the only ones you should be looking at. anything higher than that is a gimmick and probably not a very good speaker.

im a fan of rockford fosgate. they've sounded good in every install i've heard.

if your car speakers are 5.25" stock, then get 5.25" speakers. fitting bigger speakers into the doors will most likely require metal cutting or using mdf speakers mounts. depending on your experience with cars and audio, you can do it or not do it. up to you

If you have 5.25's in the door what do you have in the rear? Vehicle? Are you installing everything yourself or is someone doing it for you.

infinity's would be a good start for the money and i've heard audio q makes a pretty cheap, decent sounding set as well. powerbass may have a good set too for the price
