95legwagon Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stanley-Mobile-Work-Center-18800R-Rolling-Tool-Box-/380450291803?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D21%26pmod%3D290732009991%26ps%3D54 this is a toolbox i bought for wheeling around at work (junkyard) im a dismantler. got it for $15.... brand new not bad.... ok so what i want to do is turn the bottom section into a "boom box" i have a pioneer hu and a selection of speakers to choose from. these will be powered by a 12v tractor battery ( to avoid alot of weight) and i will drill holes and put bolts to the outside with covers for charging posts. i want to make a face out of mdf for that hole. the bottom door slides down to a decent sized storage compartment. im prolly gunna use 5.5" speakers ran off of either an OOOOLD power acoustik 25w x 2 amp .....or probably just hu power. any thoughts or ideas? maybe ill post a picture of mine opened up so you can get a better idea of what i have to work with. i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
