alright placing an order for 2 rolls of shok wire monday and possibly some toolmaker dual inputs. got a show august 4th im going to try and make it to at a local shop so the box build will be happening this week in my spare time off work im going to tune pretty low and hope to pull a decent number on music at the event but also move a lot of air.

a little bad news/good news.. good news is that my amp is shipping today. Bad news is keys to my truck with my viper 2way remote and keys to my house were given to a shoplifter at my work from a loss prevention guy on accident. have no spare and not sure what to do about him having the alarm remote can vipers be programmed at the computer to not accept the old remote and only take a new one if i buy it?

My amp is stuck in customs. they say online it wont be here til the 6th but when i call it says friday.. im not really sure whats going to happen. ill be there either way but idk for sure if it will be done. who is this btw?

alright been gone for a minute a lot has changed. this setup is actually in and playing:) its far from finished but heres some pics along the way!

amp arrived last friday one day before a local comp that i was really trying to make it to!

Justin kinda lined me out with a box design and let me take over doing the rest.

My goofy ass getting some work done fiberglassing at about 1:30 AM the night before the comp! this was my first time using a table saw/fiberglassing etc i had very limited exposure to this stuff but Justin Yeo and his lil bro and cousin were right there to help as i went along.

I ended the night here i was dead tired after working a 9 hour day and then spending hours after this so i went home and figured id get an early start the next day..

woke up 3 hours later and finished up the top two baffles on the box.

I havent gotten my Shok wire yet so for right now i was only able to run a 4gauge run from front to back one extra group 31 battery stock alt and only using one input on the ab500.1 I know this is entirely wrong and will be addressed very soon so i can get full potential out of it. we headed out to the show with my subs in the back seat and the amp wired in basically just had to wire subs and screw them in at the show. heres how they turned out.

i ended up in super street 2 i believe and pulled a 144.5 out of this setup @ 43 hz my first run i played too low of tones and got a 141.7 at 31 or 32 hz. Placed third in my class which was awesome!

anybody running the kdcbt952hd? sometimes when i start my truck it lights up fine and powers up but wont play any sound at all.. then i can unplug it and plug it back in and it works again? never had this happen before only seems to happen in really warm weather
