WhatsaSasuke
One of my friends mentioned to me the way I have my amp is bad. i have mounted on my box. he said it needs space between the amp and the box because it will overheat. I told him after a day of driving around and listening to it that it wasnt hot but he said it was still bad. So what do yall think. dwright27
imo it doesnt hurt the amp to be in the box, besides the vibrations of course. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. gotFI?
you should be fine then. to keep the amp cooler, try adding some rubber mounts under the amp to give it that clearance from the box to the amp. 1" rubber mounts would work fine.
