aarpaz Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 So in the spec booklet that came with this sub it has a recommended ported box volume of 2.25 ft*3, now if i wanted to build a box (ported) for 2 of these subs would i need to double the cubic feet of the box to 4.5 ft*3 or stay with 2.25 ft*3. also do i need to include the space inside the port as part of the total box volume, like it the port's volume was 1.25 ft*3 and the rest of the box was 2 ft*3 do i combine them to get 2.25 ft*3 or do i need to make the box 2.25 ft*3 and the port the appropriate volume for the tuning? thanks -martin
MrSkippyJ Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 add it together, so the 4.5ft*3 would be correct. Also, you do NOT include the port volume into the volume of the box. You need 4.5ft*3 PLUS your port volume. F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
