OK so I need some help. Right now I'm running an oldschool quantum 3500d monoblock. My subs are the newer re se pro series 12" wired at 1 ohm. I had my amp clamped at the last comp and they said it was at 820 Watts. Wtf. Anyways I want a new one, But am pretty broke due to the purchase of the new subs. Here's What I'm

looking at now.

you have this? http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B0030DBOEK

this amp has 2 30 amp fuses. so that 800w number sounds about right. although something tells me you're clipping a little to get that number.

if you want something to power them, look at an audioque 1200.

Wired at 1 ohm. And my volts read 13.3 steady.

no he means what impedance while they were clamping the amp. no way in hell your amp was seeing 1 ohm while you were burping or whatever while the test was going on. amps almost NEVER (like 99% of the time) see the wired impedance load while playing music. that 1 ohm can easily reach 4 ohms on music

I'd love an aq or dc, however I can't find them online. Also the prices sound out of my range. The stereo store I got my subs from say I should get the db drive. I don't want to want anymore money on junk though.

with 13.3v and guessing around 75% amplifier efficiency, i get 600w at 1 ohm. so you must be clipping the crap out of your amp to get that 800w figure.

you have to call/email dc to get a price.

you pay for quality products. you buy cheap, you get cheap. that quantum amp you have, amazon has it for $190. $190 for an amp that does like 700w clean on a good day. you can spend less than twice that much, and get an aq1200 where you're guaranteed to have a 1200w amp that has twice the amount of fusing as your current one. not some bullshit amp that says it'll do 1750w with 60amps worth of fusing.
