BURRITO
Hey Jeff or Burrito.. Which ever you like to be called = ) I got a question. I got a 1997 honda passport 4wd and i put a 3" body lift and some 31s but i was looking at suspension lifts and i was thinking about 6" suspension so that be 9" overall but i cant find anything higher than the 3" calmini lift. Any suggestions? Thanks rancho suspension had a 3" also, but they discontiued it... the calmini kit is a descent kit overall. 3" body plus a 3" suspension will get you some 33's on that badboy, but if you plan on going wheelin with that thing i and probably everyone else recomends doing a straight axel conversion on it because you will break CV axels on the IFS front end. i got a chevy 2500HD all i have done is put a leveling kit on it and 33's because im saving on a dana 60 straight axel swap for the front end... that is if i dont get a dodge ram 2500 1st which is already equiped with a BIG ass straightaxel FTW! wrathchild281
Hey burrito would you mind checking this link and letting me know if this is everything i will need for a 2/3 drop on my tahoe? Also would you expect i may need to do some fender modding to have my 26's not rub? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-06-TAHOE...sspagenameZWD1V If that isnt may you recommend another alternative roughly inexpensive, thanks. Got_Bass89
Ya i was thinkin about straight axle swap but little too much work for this truck.. I'd probably buy a little yota and lift sky high before swapin axles in this thing. Might just do the calmini lift.. Thats a 6" lift (3suspension 3body) You think i'll have problems with the CVs with that 3" calmini?
