id rather run a larger amp @ 1.4 instead of trying to overwork ur amp @ .35, u have more thd & current draw.

That too! I'm looking at a Cactus 5k to run at 1.4 ohms while I build my electrical up, just wondering how it will do at .35 when I get a bigger alt., and/or more batts!

I realize I will need at least a few more batts if I do this...

Your crazy for running that low(0.35), lowest i ran was 0.5 on a sundown 3k, but i NEVER dropped blow 14v daily. .

270xp alt, redtop infront, 2 deka's in the back.

So my assumming that your alt does NOT do rated. ever benched it ?

but 0.35 is alot of strain and never safe so change that asap.
