CDT wattage ratings...

ok, so i currently have a CDT-632 comp set in the mail on the way to me. i was browsing around on various forums like i normally do, and found a thread where people were discussing a CDT comp set and it was said(and backed up by several others) that CDT rates their rms ratings by pair, not by side. so in my case, my 200w RMS comps i just ordered might actually be 100w per side? in my 15 years in car audio, i havent seen anything outside of the flea market rated this way. anyone have any knowledge on this situation?

Not sure about that but I have HD-4's which are rated at 50w rms (per driver according to the spec sheet)

They sound good with 50w each but, they really start to come alive with 70w and upwards. I am currently running them @ 100w rms and they sound flawless!

Will you be using the supplied crossover or running them active?

And, what amp will you be driving them with?

When I ordered my CDT's, I called and im almost positive that is what they had told me. Been running them for 3 years and putting 125rms to them ( rated at 200 ) and have been good.
