Kinda sloppy but I'm just trying to size it up. This stuff was frustrating to cut but it worked for a general shape. I also made one double layer for this side already. Also I did some more one the doors today so the speakers would fit and the whole passenger's side fit perfect now. I'm just waiting to run power wire and speaker wire till the wall starts to go up.

Ok you know there is a thing called a box cutter or retractable blade...... Get that sloppy shit out of here my man! LOL At least clean it up for pics. If you use the green or blue (according to where you get it) 3/4 foam it is way easier to cut!

I did use a box cutter lol. I may just go get some cardboard to get a nicely cut piece. The foam kept getting hung up in the blade. The mdf will be much cleaner I promise haha. I should post a picture of how I got the foam board home... it was difficult. I just got some thin white foam from lowes. I'll have to look for some more. I have a very rough shape of the side now lol.

get the 3/4 foam board you will be glad you did for something like this. It is same size as the mdf so once it fits the mdf will be exactly the same. It is like 10 bucks for a 4x8 sheet it is not styrofoam but a tighter foam and cuts nice alot better!

Thanks man I'll have to go and look for that. I am doubling up all the sides too for strength. I just don't want to be guessing when I go to cut the mdf I've already bonded together.

Another trick I used if you need to go out at the top you can 45 the outer of the 2 layers and it will fit right into the headliner!

I may have to try that. My plan for connecting everything together is angle iron and titebond III. I feel like this would be better than a kreg jig for some reason. Also there will be plenty of fiberglass haha.
