21 inch Pyle?

I'm looking into a project revolving around the PYLE-PRO PDW21250. Which is a 21 inch pro audio subwoofer. Do you think it would be a good buy for a first "Very Large" style subwoofer? The only real issue on my mind here is the brand name. Suggestions would be great!

if you're putting this in a car, good luck on finding an amp that does 1000w at 8 ohms for a reasonable price

why do you want to go with that specific driver??? just for the size???

Of Course. After all, size ALWAYS matters haha but I just want something over the top. And for the price, it's in that "Why not?" category in my mind.

ok, cool, I just preffer a good quality smaller sub, than a lesser quality bigger one.

but it would be a fun project.

As always, it depends how quality I build the enclosure and how well I power it. If all ends well I'll have a decent woofer that slams! If not....well I still have something most 15 year olds dont have.

I know some people are using them in an open baffle home setup. I'll look for the picture to give you an idea.

I did manage to find an old school setup with 8 of them in a van

By the Bye; here is a lower cost alternative. Thought about getting a few of these to play with in the car. I am sure that they wouldn't go ham lol but they would be a riot in the car.

personally id go with something else? like my 9515 DD would get waay louder than a 21" pyle haha. but if u havea budget idk id go with a smaller better quality sub
