focused313 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 I have a Hifonics TXI6006 amp. It does 150 x 2 @ 4, 300x2 @ 2, and 600x1 @ 4. I have a pair of Alpine 610C's up front and stock-ish 6x9's. The 6.5's are running off the amp and the rears are off the HU. Before I run out and get another 4 channel amp, I'd like to know if I would be better off just sticking with the amp that I have and connect the left/right channels of both the rear and front to one channel of the amp (basically just using the amp I have to power all four speakers). Wouldn't putting 4 speakers on the amp make the amp see a load of 2 ohms? Learning Everyday.
