BigLurch60420 Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 Hey guy's, I was wonderiing if 2 soundstream x3 15s and 2 power acoustik d1 6000 is a good combo? for my budget, and no one ships to canada I went on amazon and got them for a decent price. And also I'm sorry if this is the wrong section, Beg my pard.
RooTxBeeR Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 Well if those subs really do take 5k a piece, that amp only puts out 3500 watts, and I know it doesn't put out what it says it does. I can't say for sure how much it actually does but it doesn't put out a full 3500 watts at full clean power. BigLurch60420 Posted July 22, 2012 Author Report Posted July 22, 2012 Yea, well it's all I can seem to find that powerfull and affordable hopefully it'll hold up for now and the subs run 6000 watt rms burp at 10000, at least all the info i've read on them " edit: "X3-152 15" Dual 2-ohm X3 Series Competition Subwoofer X3152"
Guest Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 4 gauge power. so yeah it wont do more than like 1500w.
Guest Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 if you want to power those subs to their rated rms, you're gonna have to do some serious electrical upgrades. dual alts, shit ton of batteries, and the like.
