help with sundown e12 box

Hay joe x I sketched that box out and did some researche and the port still loooks to narrow to me. Its only like a inche and a half wide. Port noise for sure. I was thinking at least 2 1/2 " at least if not 3". Any input woould be great.

For a given constant area the taller is a box the thinner is the port BUT one can make a box not as tall and a bit wider, just to make you happy I have made just that, now the port is 2" and the box is 15" tall, it has the port area it needs for that tuning frequency and the sub you are using (actually a bit more than it needs).

Hay thanks joe, sorry to be a nage. This is the first box I am going to build on my own. I got a couple boxes from some shops in my area and they were pretty shotty so I will try my own hand at it. I want to try this one before I take on the sa-15 box you designed for me. Also are t-nuts or hurricane nuts any good to use so I can switch boxes with different tunnings at will without stripping out screw holes? Thnx again bro!
