johnarias15
Hi, I just became a proud owner of a Sundown Audio v2 8". Ive been doing some research and found out that the sub only needs .75 cu ft of space. What is the size of the port going to be for this sub. Also the dimensions of the box would be needed. Sorry for being a noob at box building. Thanks. john253a
Unless you running 400rms or under build it in 0.6cuft My recommendation is 10h Port 8.5x1.25 (could do 8.5x 1.125 if you need the space) Tune it to 32-33flat and no higher unless you aftet more spl What do you want to achieve with it? And how much power?

johnarias15
I'm putting it in a 2005 ford f150 crew cab. Since the seats sit so low I decided just to put it in the center seat of the back seat with the sub facing forward. johnarias15
I will have to give you the measurements when I get the truck back tomorrow as it is in the shop. It is nearly impossible though to have the sub sit underneath the seat and the seats can't fold since they are bolted to the back of the truck so behind the seats is out of the question.
