I don't know your setup so not sure if you have HO or not but doesn't matter for this little spiel. Recharge 1 battery or recharge a few? You'd have to wire the batteries together, it's just more work. If the XS alone would do the job, I'd do that. Disconnect cables, remove battery, put new battery there, connect cables? Easy peasy!
