J R
I have a 7.5cube box before displacement. Tuned to 31. Kicker ZX2500.1 for the subs (going to be dual 2 so I can run at 2 ohm). A XS D975 and 2 red tops for the amp with zero gauge Knu all around. For this size box and the rest of my setup would I be better off with the 15's or 18's for SPL use and just to be as loud as possible. J R
Fi recommends 3-5 per sub so that's why I was thinking 15's. I just figured I might be able to get away with 18's. 412 CVX
you could probably get away with a pair of 15's. definitely not 18's though. you'd be looking at around 10 cubes minimum for the 18s Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. J R
awwww. Oh well. Is the rest of my system good for the 15's? wmrcs
awwww. Oh well. Is the rest of my system good for the 15's? I guess. Sooo do you have a box with no sub cutouts in it or something? Quote E34 540iT/
J R
It's cut out for 2 15's currently I have Memphis Mojo's but I got a great offer on them I will be taking. The guy doesn't want the box and it's perfect for my car so it worked out great. I just have the option of cutting it out for 18's easily. Another question. I'm wanting to put no more than $700 into two 15's and keeping the rest of my setup the same. Anything better for the money than Fi BL's? I've had an Fi BL 10 and that thing ROCKED for how small it was. Crandis16
you might be able to get away with DC lvl 3 15's or DC lvl 4 15's Quote My Red zx2 Build Log My Black zx2 Build Log My Red zx2 UBL
J R
The level 4's only require 3.25 cube ft. each so these may be a possibility. Louder than the Fi's?
