fecupe2001 Posted July 29, 2012 Report Share Posted July 29, 2012 i´ve even used 6" aeroport for a single 8" sub, but of course, strictly for burps, i do think you could get away with a 4" aeroport and get a lot more output, biggest problem would be the tuning, you would need something like 24" long for a 40 hz tuning... Mr.Aircooled Posted July 29, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2012 I noticed most people are getting more output with these subs tuned in the high 30's low 40's range using 4" or bigger ports. from what i've read on other threads a 4" dia would be more efficient than a 3" dia.
