Problem with my sub

Recommended Posts

Hey guys i have a problem with my sub, its a Rockford Fosgate P3S Shallow Punch. It is in a sealed box, the problem is it sounds like something in the box is rattling but the bass is fine just a loud rattling noise. Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

something in the box? Why dont you pull the sub out and look. I know you said its sealed. Is it a box you made or a prefab. If its prefab coul be an air leak..Ive had them make some weeird noises when air escapes lol.

Maybe loose or extra speaker wire dangling and bouncing around in the box? Just my experience with sealed boxes.

Agreed.

Pull the sub and maybe throw some sealer in there added on to the little or a lot it has already in it you never know its always worth a try.
