2200d strapped power

I was told that 2 audioque 2200d strapped does over 5k on a good electrical has anyone clamped these amps before

ive seen 4900 and some change clamped from a pair on decent electrical rising to a lil over 1ohm iirc it was like 1.2 ohms .5 starting impedance

I already have 1 2200 I ordered another I'm running them on four dc 15's I'm in the process of doing my electrical now how many batts do you think I will need I'm on a stock alt now

i dont think youll be able to do it on stock alt. how big is stock alt?

me and slamminbeats on here tried strapping 2 AQ 2200s in his car @ .5 ohm so each amp sees .25 ohm, and the voltage went to 9 before we could turn them up to 3/4 of full. so we had to turn them down.

if you strap at 2 ohms you may just be able to get away with 3-4 good batts. like d3100. but if you strap below 2 ohms i couldnt tell you. a H/O alt is the first thing i would do. once you go over 4k you kinda need a H/O alt.
