how to know if I'm using full potential?

ok I finally got my box done, and installed both of my subs and amps, batteries. (just to test the box)

it is loud (to the ear)

it flexes the whole truck.

it sound good.

but how can I know if i'm using the full potential of my subs/amps

or its is OK but could be better???

I do not know anyone around with a termlab.

but I wouldn't know what numbers to expect either.

flexing or being loud isn't an indication of full potential.

if you want to know exactly how much power your amp is outputting, you will need to use a clamp meter and multimeter

well in order for us to tell you, you also have to post port dimensions, and tuning, etc.

edit: i can also guarantee you that your amps aren't outputting 2000w a piece. they never will.

they are putting around 1800 (according to a friend that clamp them)

the answer is: no, you are not getting the full potential out of your equipment. i dont need to see a single thing to know that.

but not providing any information and a vague question wont get you any help.

My opinion is te box is too close to the back doors. Might try moving it forward and see. I could be wrong. I just think you need at east port width of one port between port and back doors.

edit.

and my brand new keyboard has an "H" key tat doesn't work unless you smash it.

oh ya, that box. i still say it looks way too close to the back hatch.
