basshead5280
I have a 1999 dodge Durango 5.9 v8 and I want to upgrade my battery. I have a 1500 watt amp and going to upgrade it to a newer model later on and also add a 600.4. I was thinking a xs power d1200 but not sure if It will giver my cranking amps I need. What one would be best? I have a 117 stock alt. also. Nathan @ XSpower
The 1200 will give you plenty of cranking power. The stock battery for that application is a D2700, which would fit in the stock location with the stock battery tray and be more than enough power. The 1200 would be the smallest option I would go with.
