Tim Lam
hey so i currently have a kinetik hc1800, and want to run 2000rms so i'm getting a 2nd battery. i think after a long time of searching im going to get a Diehard platinum battery. the guy at sears claimed that's what runs tanks, but anyways. does anyone know how they do on car audio? i was also wondering if i got one, would it make a difference if i had the platinum or hc1800 under the hood? i think i'd like to have the platinum under the hood and move the hc1800 in the back. but i would have to get a platinum for my size of car. or should i just keep the hc1800 under the hood and get the biggest platinum battery they have?(since they all are the same price) and if i did, would these 2 batteries be enough for a ~2300rms load? kalilac619
He's actually right since enersys (who makes diehard platinum batteries) has a contract with the government .....yes they'll work fine they're actually the same batts as hawkers/odyssey/Stinger batts...if it helps I'm running 3 platinums in the trailblazer in my Sig .... Tim Lam
guess i'll get the group 35 under the hood and just put the hc1800 in the back, will be easier that way for me. also just made an amp/ battery rack today so that will work out great. since the hc1800 comes with a mounting sleeve. severancej
Lol ok the platinum is a good choice man. I would put it under the hood the kinetik will look nicer with the amp rack for sure. I need a budget friendly strong agm battery too, let me know how the platinum performs.
