knightsdaze69
I just got my new SMD DD-1 today. The manual was real straightforward on how to set the gains on the headunit and the amps. It didn't, however say what to do regarding sound processors. my H.U feeds an Audiocontrol Four.1 (linedriver-eq). Now, I GET that I need to flatten out the eq, BUT I leave the line drivers set on full output cuz the next device in line is a A.C. 6xs (act. xover/linedriver) which can take the hot, CLEAN signal from the Four.1.. Anyway, i'm looking for some opinions on how I should do this. Thanks
MrSkippyJ
Turn everything down (amps and processors), hook DD-1 up to amp like it says too in the manual. Find distortion volume on H/U, then with that volume set, use the same tracks (40hz an 1khz) to find how much you can turn up each line driver, then pick appropriate track to set your amps gains. Make sense?
