UhOh Spaghetioz
Just got a new sub. A dad kmh 12 and man is this thing badass. Ive always used prefabs in the past but this time i wanna do it right since i have a nice sub. I was wondering if i could get some help with a design. The owner of dad says they tune anywhere from 32-45hz. I was thinks maybe a 33hz tune. And the internal volume is usually 1.3 cubes. The displacement of the sub is 0.15. I already have a 4" aeroport i want to use because of the small trunk space i have unless i can fit a slot port box in there. My max dem are 14.25h 28w 13.5d. The sub will be on 500 rms. Thanks for the help

Joe X
Well here is a suggestion, researched the sub a bit, this is what can be done on your dims: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 33 Hz Vb = 1.75 ft^3 External Height = 14.25 in External Width = 28 in External Depth = 13.5 in Port Width = 1 3/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front = 25 1/2 x 12 3/4 Back = 28 x 12 3/4 Left & Right Sides: Side 1 = 12 x 12 3/4 Side 2 = 12 3/4 x 12 3/4 Top & Bottom = 28 x 13 1/2 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 10 1/4 x 12 3/4 Extension = 13 1/8 x 12 3/4 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Let me know any questions. Awesome. Thanks man. Did you use the torres calculator to figure all that?
Joe X
You can use Torres to verify the results, port centerline length is 26.2/3".

What kind of displacements were included? Like for the sub and the two 45s in the pic?
Joe X
One of the 45s has no displacement as is in port airspace the other is 0.01 cubic feet the sub 0.15 cubic feet.

Is 26 2/3" what you entered for the port length?
