BobbyG2
I finally got my new car. It's an 1995 Buick Le Sabre. It's got a pretty sizable trunk. But, getting two 15's in there without building it in there might be a little hard... I have two Obsidian Audio 15's, and an Sundown SAE 1200Dv.2. I was thinking of either A: Building a ported box smaller than what I had in my SUV. Or B: Doing Infinite Baffle. I've always wanted to try infinite baffle, but not sure how well the Obsidian's would do, especially with that much power. I measured my trunk: Rear seat to back, shortest distance: 36" Floor to Top, lowest spot: 15.5" Width, thinnest spot: 36" What you guys think? Maybe relocate my 15's into the house, and go another route? Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
Guest
what if you do two separate boxes?

BobbyG2
Not sure how that will work? I guess it will make it easier to slide them into the trunk? Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
Ddub847
Ya basicly its easier to put 2 smaller boxes in then 1 big 1.
BobbyG2
Oh alright, now how should I calculate my dimensions? I'll take a picture and label it with dimensions in a little while Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*

BobbyG2
This should fit: Reason it's 38" wide is because that's the thinnest width of the trunk opening. I will be firing it forward. Maybe eventually sealing it off Edited August 14, 2012 by BobbyG2 Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*

He have to build a box with a beveled (have beveled out of the dictionary, other vocables for what i mean, was chamfered, conical or slant) side for the subs Quote "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley
Guest
i'd do 36" width and 15" height. you have to remember to take into account the trunk opening itself. build a couple boxes out of cut cardboard to see if itll fit in there.
