questions about resonate fz

if deadner changes peak and it could it will raise the res freq

what does deadner do stop or make stuff move less now think of you subs when you play a low note what do the subs do move a lot and slow kinda like your panels do with out deadner

now play 50 hz what do your subs do now move way less and faster like a panle with deadner on it

thats a dumbed down way of explaining it

I like dumbed down versions of things and it makes perfect sence

there are also the times where it kills loudness

me and my team mate had 2 differnt trucks his an s10 mine a mazda b2200 we both put deadner in the whole truck roof doors back and floor

his hz raised by 4hz and gain .2 dbs

my hz raised by 6 hz and i lost a full db test 6 differnt boxes that i knew the spl all 6 lost 1 full db ripped it out all 6 boxes gained that full db back

so then deadner raises peak freq. how would you lower it alpine? say i tune for 38, car peaks at 42. what ways would i go about dropping the cars peak?

dunno i suppose, add more cabin room it would seem like since adding deadner would raise it, that'll be making the cabin volume go down i suppose. i can also be talking out of my ass since this is just an assumption. so to make it go down you'd have to increase the volume ie: taking seats out then if it's to low adding the deadner :shrug: that's what seems logical to me but again, i don't know.
