Papaslim Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 QUESTION: What could be going on if I plug one set of RCAs into my sub am and the speakers pop? The other set of RCAs don't make any noise. This is a 4 channel amp by the way. Also, After this happened my sub amp won't turn on Getting loud is only half the job;sounding good while doing it is where the glory is.1998 Jeep CherokeeHead Unit: Pioneer AVH-P6300BTFront Stage: Kenwood 6.5Rear Stage: kenwood 6.5Tweeters: SoundstreamMids/Highs amp: Hifonics Zeus 600.4Sub Amp: Hifonics BRZ2400Subs: 4 Skar VVX 10s(only running 2 now; still has all of them though)Batteries: Optima Red Top(under the hood)XS Power D1200(in the trunk)0 AWG Power Wire
Papaslim Posted August 22, 2012 Author Report Posted August 22, 2012 it doesn't seem to be the RCAs, because i swapped them around and now the other speakers are making a popping sound. It seems to be something in the amp, I guess. JasonJones Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Is it while the system is running...? If it is on then nothing is wrong... That is normal...
