BillKessel
I was wondering how i would make removeable aero ports for my JL w6 box im building. i have 2 JL w6's running on a 1200.1 HD jl amp, and i want to be able to easily change my tuning. when making a port able to be tuned at 25,32,38 would the box volume stay at the recommended 1.50 cubic feet x2 (3.00) and work with all them tunings? also if i could get a tutorial on how to figure out aeroports on a box calculator that would be great! i have trouble with getting the right port area Also if i could pay someone to design it let me know! Chris Hammer
The only way I could think to do that is build a box to specs with a pvc port tuned to 38hz. Have the port come out from the box a few inches so part of it is external. Than you could use a coupler and a second piece of varying length to increase port length and drop tuning.
