what shouuld i upgrade?

So I have a llist of what I want to do, but I'm on a very tight budget s I have narrowed it down to two options. The budget is $100. Option 1: I can either upgrade my 3.5 inch midrange speakers in my dash to either the infinity kappa series or the rockford punch series, both coaxial, but infinity has an external crossover which I like. Option 2: purchase a trunk pack of damplifier by second skin. Because I have absolutuly horrible rattles originating mostly in the trunk. With my budget I can only afford damplifier, not damplifier pro. Noot sure what to do, help me!

damplifier. sounds like your ok with your speakers (at least for now) and hate the rattles so based just purely on that, I'd get the damplifier.

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards too, my only setback is that my 3.5s I had in there blew so I'm out a set of speakers all together... Never really realized how much a difference they made until I didn't have them. Will there be much of a difference between damplifier and damplifier pro in my case?

From what I've heard, no. pro is twice (or a little more than twice) as thick so it's better obviously but that's not saying the normal stuff sucks. They say their damplifier is like other people's "pro" or "extreme" or their top notch stuff. So if all your doing is your trunk, wouldn't be a huge difference, just a minor one if one at all.

Again, all based on what I've read on this forum, on other forums, online, etc. I am buying some hopefully this weekend so I'll find out for myself shortly.

i hate how infinity speakers sound. every line. way too bright and harsh for my taste. and no mid range either. its all highs and lows.

i'd honestly pick rf > infinity for mids and highs.

I may just gave to wait then... Knowing how goods their products are, they would have to be quality sheets of sound deadening... How did u hear about out?
