My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. (on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts.

I personally hated the way the stock grils looked so i just undid my door pannel and took out old speaker and took of the stock grill. without the grill in you have the perfect size hole to mound a 6.5 in. then i just wired in the stock tweater and cross over bumpin on a budget 2 cvr 12's 1800.2 power acoustic bamf sealed box 2.3 cub each net all in the trunk of a 98 grand am gt 4 dr

Colton Holaway Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 yea if you wana run 2 then you have to do some glass work. right now i got kicker 6.5 (the cheapest ones) wired in with the stock tweats and some kicker ks 6x9s in the rear and it sounds real good all ran off my HU. my plan is to get some polk audio mm6501's and put them in the doors and take out the stock tweat and put the polks in their place and amp em. its hard to build a box to fit in the trunk though. i think mine is built to 15 tall 15 wide and 26 long and i gad to take out the rear seat and cut where the back seat clips in( if you take out the back seat you will see what i mean) and bend part of it up so i could get my box in. the part i had to cut is the lil metal part that comes down off the rear deck lid bumpin on a budget 2 cvr 12's 1800.2 power acoustic bamf sealed box 2.3 cub each net all in the trunk of a 98 grand am gt 4 dr

Can't wait to see what it will do to my subs now. An blew my middle port completely out a few weeks ago. So I'm going to b taking my subs out an liquid nailing down the top peice of mdf an putting my port bk in an re-sealing it.
