Or...... Since the front of the box is already taped/sealed off from the cabin, go ahead and Great Stuff the sides of the box. Just a little suggestion. Or glass over the tape and deal with the wonderful stench of FG lol. I'd recommend glassing it, but we're not gonna be having anymore warm temps for awhile, so unless you've got a heated garage or don't mind sitting in there with some halogen lamps, having the glass cure properly will be a lengthy process. I'm going back and doing mdf panels, gorilla tape it on each side, then great foam the back side. This is only temporary, my actual subs that I'm gonna put all my time into will be here this week sometime That's when I'll start gettin some fiberglassing and resoning experience. Very loud, but mine begs for more power. If you do go the route of HDC3's, make sure you habe the ability to give em atleast 1500 watts a piece, everyone says they can take more, but I'll never know :/ Mines on about 1000 watts in the video. So if you're glassing a piece that has an up and down direction, or a piece that's on the roof, mix up a batch of resin, lay on some mat, lay on the resin mixture, hit it with the heat for a few, and it'll cure in place quicker. That's why you see some builds around here where people have halogen work lamps really close to whatever they're working on.
