basscherokee Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 my amp is only a month old and wil not put out any power! i cant play music and when i turn the cross over up you can hear mids in the subwoofer but it wont put out more than like 10 watts <- by how it sounds) any one ever have this problem? 2001 vw gti 2 hds212s 4.75 net tuned to 34hz audioque1200 wired to 1 ohm nvx 0 gauge to the back kinetic khc 2000 kenwood deck
Skullz Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Sounds like the amp might have crapped out. First i would put a test tone in the cd player/usb port/ipod port connection and play a test tone and turn the h/u up and see if your getting a/c volts from it to know that the h/u is working and putting out through the rca's. If your getting voltage from the h/u then check all speaker connections at the amp and inside the box to make sure nothing is loose or has come disconnected, also check the coils to make sure they are reading the correct ohm load.
