zydrix Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 i seen the malibu today, an that thing is gonna get LOUD!!! especailly if u upgrade ur amp to a 1k rms amp. u will push that AQ just right an will tear stuff for 1 15". did u take ur speakers an all of ur jeep when u sold it an all ur new wire? an the wire that u had for the big 3? My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. (on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts. I wont go any bigger then 750W rms on that Woofer. zydrix Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 cuz that AQ can handle about 1k rms i have seen 1200-1500 on it. an the 1600 watt amp would b great if u later on decided to add a 2nd 1. just saying. then u could b running about 800 2 each 1. did u get ur RF clamped yet? i also wanted to know if u could clamp my new 1,300 watt soundstream amp when it comes it. I talked to AQ and they said the risk of destroying that sub comes after 750W rms on daily basis especially on a long trip like I plan on doing A lot with this new car. I am not blowing another 15'' sub. My RF amp is doing good enough. If I stumble across a 750W rms amp for an awesome deal I will grab it.
