You'll notice boss isn't cea certified. that CEA rating is a joke if you are basing your idea of a good amp being cea rated you really havea lot to learn. You can buy that cea rating Hifonics is just another company that is living off the name they created previously. Soundstream us amps RE audio are some others. Ik but for someone that doesn't know much about what to look for in an amplifier then that is one of the things they should look for. i understand that the brand has the majority of what the amp will do.
