ABK1126
i currently have 2 12" kicker comps on a 400.1 kicker amp i know its pretty much a baby set up since its only 400 watts but i plan on upgrading to either 2 12 inch cvrs or 2 12 inch re audio srx's and a kicker 1000.1 amp since i already have it i wanna get good spl although i know probably cant expect much my question is which ones are more recomendable for a bit more spl? I cant decide both are affordable and run at bout the same price on ebay
J R
I'll have to say the CVR's will be better for what your wanting between the two. If you want even more for a little more money go with type R alpine's, I picked them up for $138 each for the newest version at the time. But personally.....I'd save up a little more and get two Sundown SA 12 d2's since the kicker amp (if it's a ZX series) will want to be ran at 2ohm. As everyone will tell you on this board, it's not always the subs that make your system better for what you want. Do more research into boxes. Have a ported box made to the tuning of your liking or even build one yourself and make a build log here on the board. ***2001 GMC 2500HD Regular Cab*** -Jensen 9312 Flip-Out -2 12 inch Pioneer Step-up Shallow Mounts -Kicker ZX750.1 for Lows -Pioneer 6.5 coax in the doors -Pioneer 4x6 coax in the pillars -Old School Alpine MRV-F250 for Mids/Highs ***1969 Camaro Z/28*** -500+ cubic inch 950hp BBC + 400-650 shot of Nitrous -Audio coming soon-

zydrix
http://www.audioque.com/Street-Duty-SDC25-12-D4-Subwoofer_p_11.html theres a link my friend. if u run 2 of these. i highly suggest that u get a 1500 watt amp. an run these subs @ about 750 watts each. @ 600 they just beg for more power. personally i think they can do more then 750 rms. but audioque will only tell u 750rms My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. xx1
yes Audioque subs are pretty loud and unexpensive. IMO better than both of your choices. audio related merchandise (decals, banners, lanyards, hats, shirt, etc)
