I currently have 2 AQ hdc 3 15s on a AQ 2200d. Sooner or later i will be upgrading to an AQ3500d. i wanted to make a new box. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a box. Its got fit in a 2003 impala trunk.

people need your max dimensions and what your trying to tune the box to in order to help out

I have an impala as well. I have a single 15. AB HD, so a pretty similar sub to yours.

I have my sub and port firing to the back (my seats don't fold). Basic L-Port. I get a shit load of rattle from my trunk and other parts in my cabin (plastic trim pieces on my dash and the plastic sunglass holder on the roof. Also, my trunk lid and rear fenders flex several inches. You're gonna need a boat load of deadener.

My box takes up a decent portion of my trunk. I know it's possible to fit your 15s in, but you're likely going to have to build it in, the trunk, and hope you don't get a flat tire anytime soon.

EDIT: My box is something like 16" high, 22ish" deep and about 33 or 34" wide and I have room to slide it around. I can't remember but something near those numbers. I know 16" is just about as high as you'll want to go unless you plan on removing your 6x9s in your rear deck.

2 15" HDC3's in the trunk of an impala? haha good luck. these don't do well in sealed, and I doubt you'll be able to get anywhere near recommended net airspace. step down to 12's or get rid of one of the 15's
