Just a simple question in regards to his battery and if it should be enough to run the amp. At least he didn't ask if he could run his amp @ 0.5 with those batts. He asked for pricing on cheap 0g. So if I got 0 gauge knu ofc. Could I just do 1 run of that front to back? Or should I do 2? Dual inputs, run 2. Double up your ground while you're at it. New Setup; H/U; Pioneer DEH-80prs. mrd6 Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 IMO I did a decent job documenting the recent electrical upgrades I did for my build. Currently I am running a single sundown 3500 but did my wiring for when I plan to add a second. If you have questions or want to decent reference, take a look through the last page or two of my build log for reference to how to wire things up, just cut the number of runs in half since you are only running one 3500 watt amp. (I dont have fuses right now though, i know the risks and except them, if you dont like it its not your car lol) But if you want to fuse for maximum protection... 1) fuse between alt positive and battery. 2) fuse 1 foot away from the terminals on both sides of your positive runs between the front and rear batteries 3) fuse between your amp and your rear battery bank Edit: yes, fuse each input My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL
