Brettward
Alright guys, since money is tight, gunna get another new Alpine Type R 12" (2 Total). yes its this years new line, so its gunna be running on a 2000 watt amp or more, depending which one i decide on. ANYWAYS, lets say i go with the AQ 2200D. I have a Subaru Impreza 2.5i '07. XS Power D2400 up front, 1/0 gauge big three wiring... Now alternator options. I see a 230 amp alt, a 250 amp alt, a 270 amp alt, then theres the 180 amp alt. I am just curious as to how many amps i would need to be using into a 2200 watt system (ALSO, i would be most likely adding second battery to the back, unsure of which one ATM but as of now im just using a cap cuz that is all i could afford at the time.) If any more info is needed let me know!!!
southern66ss
OP, i would go as big on the alt as you can afford. 8ight
Get the 270a alt. It will only minimize the amount of batteries you need to buy and therefore the amount of extra weight you have to carry around. I'm gonna hate
