Joshex Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2013 Are those just coil springs over the stock shocks?No they aren't, I'm not 100% what they are, but they came off a friends car that had been lowered and he got new coilovers. These are fully adjustable. Sorry, I didnt word that well. Haha,I mean, does the adjustable coilspring just slide over the existing shock? Or is it an independent unit? Im planning on lowering mine so Im just weighing options. I wish I had more information on it but I don't, I'm not exactly sure how these work. Like I said I got them from a buddy used for cheap as dirt ($50). This is the first suspension work I have done so I'm still kind of new. I don't believe it slid over the existing shock though since I swapped the entire suspension and got rid of my old stock suspension completely.Lookin good dude ready for an aq2200? Thanks man, I found out it was just my EQ settings, so no worries!I also have 2-3 friends that know body work and are willing to help. I've looked into plastidip, but need to find out more about it. Also my financial circumstances are terrible right now and can't get any money to do ANYTHING. Hopefully once I get a job I can pick back up where I left off and finish off with a good impression. I also have extra left over to place a second battery in the trunk, just need a battery. With the big 3 I have increased my voltage from 13.8 to 14.3, which I was very surprised at.
