Bass Expander, Reconstruction processor, crossover, eq, line driver....difference?

What's the difference in all these, I was skulking around sonic and wanna know what all the difference is in these

Line drivers only mean turning your gain down, they are good if you need them (low RCA volts, long runs etc.) Bass processors can "bring bass out" in music that it doesn't usually have much presence in. I'm guessing a bass expander is some sort of bass booster but I don't know, it's probably a band-aid for a poor install like a lot of things. I know people who listen to a lot of Latin music and run bass processors with good results, though.

thanks for the knowledge, don't really think i need any of em then. My headunit has 5v pre-outs and i dont use my subs unless i'm listening to rap. i just use door speakers for the rest

I have a bass processor and yes i find it is basically a base boost on steroids. It is cleaner than using a bass boost function on an amp however for music like rock or country it really does "bring the base out" but i will turn it off for heavy base music such as rap. it is solid distortion.
