Im gonna put 2 smd18s @1ohm.. in my truck and would i be able to get away with running a single rf t2500 to each one? i mean they are usually around 3500 at 1 ohm....ooh and 1 more thing, i was wondering if anyone knows any sites that make pillar speaker pods. or have any diy that can link me. i founda few sites but nothing for a dodge ram.. i wanna get 2 sets of jl audio zrs in the front. thanks!!!
Watch the bass Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 In the time where the SMD comes out a internet audio magazin tested the SMD sub with a 2.5 k watt´s amp, still incredible sound and getting loud. You have to build a bigger box than threw the specs, to compensate your less wattage. Please create a thread in the subsection and ask the boxdesign/building cracks with there experience how much bigger the space have to be. Otherwise shoot a mail to AA and ask what they recommand. Gavin Tolzien Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 will do! and you guys make a good point. if im not gonna let a good sub let loose i might as well not get it.. so ill be sure to go all out and give em what they need... and yeah each sub will have its own battery, plus i have 2 batteries in my engine bay already so thatll be 4. and gonna search for a good alt.

Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Well once u get that alt and decide on a amp if u have questions on batteries ask it would b ashame to mess nething up.. u should also consider maybe starting with a smaller set up and working ur way up . Gavin Tolzien Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 well i had 2 RF t1500 1 for each 12.4 orion hcca. i just ran each amp to a different battery in my engine bay and my healights dimmed bad.. so yeah, will be new to hooking up batteries but i will do my research. and ive decided to go with the sp4 18 2 ohm and a RF t2500bdcp
